Wow, this is fabulous. You have completely nailed Vern's POV here. I can hear his voice so clearly in this. Great job.

Thank you! I almost want to write that I "enjoyed nailing Vern" but that somehow seems so very, very wrong.

I appreciate the compliment and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

...occasionally, he’d bestow a kiss on one of his prags as a reward or use it as leverage in a more complex seduction game.

I especially like this bit because it reminds me of when Keller kissed Vern after being backstage with Beecher. A more complex seduction game, indeed. And, you know, ha-hah, Vern, 'cause Keller'll be the death of you anyway. Great Vern voice, too.

Thanks! I think Chris is one of those guys that Vern would see as needing to be seduced rather than bullied. (Why no Nazi brand on Chris' ass?)

Of course, it's all in what Keller would allow anyway, because I have a hard time seeing him taking part in any situation that he couldn't use to his advantage later on.

Thanks for reading!

Poor put-upon Vern! So unappreciated. *snickers* Of course, I totally sympathize; Chris Keller's beautiful lips would drive anybody crazy.

Exactly! Vern's only looking out for his prags (how dare Toby not appreciate him!)

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and comment!
