New Dog
We had planned to get two dogs from the get go, so that they would be company for each other. It's around six months after we got Kai, but we didn't really start seriously looking for a while, and after a couple of false alarms we finally ended up getting Kai a 'baby sister' yesterday.
It's funny how things turned out. We went to the local kennels to look at two dogs we had seen on the website. Honey, a 2 year old Labrador bitch, was literally being paid for by a couple as we walked in. The other was Molly, a Newfoundland, also a 2 year old bitch, but the people at the kennels didn't think would be suitable for us. However, they suggested we look at Belle. As a Staffie - Jack Russell cross, she was a little smaller than either of us were planning, but she won our hearts (Kate especially), and she got on famously with Kai when we took them to the exercise area at the kennels.
So, here are a couple of pictures of Belle, plus a couple - long overdue - ones of Kai.
