In defense of the Kansas prairie

Buck up, Buckaroo! While riding through Kansas, you might find inspiration from pioneer history, when the settlers crossed the prairies in covered wagons and had to deal with swarming locust attacks, starvation, disease and other challenges of homesteading in Indian territory. In those moments when the GPS and cell phone fails you, with your helmet covered with bug splatter, maybe you'll feel a remote kinship with Laura Ingalls Wilder--oh wait!--that's for girls! In any case, skip the corn and treat yourself to THE BEST BARBEQUE IN THE WORLD while you're in Kansas. Those people really how to smoke their meat! xoxo, Lau7ren SFSG
