Today was a busy and long day.
Drove south to Boyanyup to see Bob, a friend who lives down there, finally had a look at the Boyanyup Markets spent too much, had a good poke arround at all the stalls, tried a sausage from the sausage sizzle and the sausage was one of the gourmet ones one of the stall holders was selling, was super tasty, no fat what so ever, bought some jams, nuts and cheese and vowed to go back and buy more things from there.
After that lobbed back to put the items in the cool at Bob's place and then off to the Capel Town fair, looked arround they had most of the town closed off for this event and there was some interesting produce, as well as some stationary engines (running) bought lunch at the senior Citizens Centre the sandwiches were top notch as were the cakes, the prices were much better than the prices at the vans throughout the town.
Was treated to a Coffee from a vendor who had come up from Margaret River this coffee was sweet with a vanillaish taste but it had no sugar in it super nice. Later talked to the Capel Town Council people for a while very odd these people were actually approachable unlike the councils in Perth (like Wanneroo and Joondalup).
Then ventured into a tent were there were wild life carers, and had a ringtail possum walk on my hand and up my arm and then walked to onto Kevin's hand and had a nibble (must have been some sweet stuff from the cake he had still on his hand) it was very very cute.
After all that excitement went back to Bob's place in Boyanyup and had a yack for a few hours and at about 4:30pm or so drove back to home, took a detour to the local Fish & Chip shop as I would not be wanting to play in the kitchen. Sat down just after 7:30pm and had the feed.
What a Day, long tiring but a lot of fun.
