"There is widespread anger in Canberra over the 'convoy of no-confidence'. While in the rest of Australia,'Canberra' is a term synonymous with 'Government', for many of us who live here, Canberra is 'home'. And while many see the business of Canberra as the business of Government, the fact is that the business of Canberra is also retail, industry, education, not-for-profit-organisations and more. For those of us who live and work here, the Convoy represents disruption and disturbance in our lives, in getting to work and in getting our children to school. The Convoy may bring the attention of Australians on to the concerns of its participants, but its impact will be most felt by ordinary Canberrans, not the politicians it wishes to connect with the most."
ETA: Despite the "quotation marks" - that quote is actually from me. I just had to type it up before I forgot it! LOL!
