Trip to Miami
Ooooookay. So, I'm going to attempt to summarize the events of the past few days, wherein I dropped off the face of the Earth and probably ended up causing quite a few people to go WTF. ^^;
Wednesday, I wake up expecting to do my usual net junk when Theresa reminds me that since last minute complicated stuff happened, we're going down then instead of Friday to Miami. We spent most of the time up until we left chilling at John's, which was cool. So then we drove down, talking the /entire/ way down, mostly about decorating the house (we have some awesome ideas, I can't wait to take photos once we're all finished and stuff). We arrived late at night, and I slept.
Thursday, my aunt picked me up to run a few errands. I bought a new belt, three new pairs of shoes (black dress shoes, dark brown loafers, and light brown boots), dress socks, a new charger for my cellphone, and I got a haircut. Most of that was for a Quinces I had on Saturday (Spanish version of a Sweet Sixteen party). I spent the rest of the day hanging out at Anays', and we played with Tarot cards and it was kinda neat. ^^
Friday, I went up to Fort Myers with my mom and dad to look at houses. They put an offer on a house, it's not bad, but I liked another one better. The other one had an indoor family room with a mini-bar, jacuzzi, and fireplace. Yeah. >_>; They decided not to go with that one. It's not sure if they'll move or not, and the other one is more rentable in case they decide not to move immediately and whatnot.
Saturday was the Quinces, those were fun, I saw a couple of people from SAS (old high school) there, and talked to a friend of mine I hadn't seen in ages, Julio. I enjoyed myself a lot, even though I only danced to one song with a girl I barely knew at /all/, which was the most amusing part of all. ^^;
Sunday was Mother's Day, spent that running around and seeing people, pretty fun too. Nothing too eventful happened.
And...today I drove up. ^^ *looks at clock* Well, Monday = today because I don't count past midnight as tomorrow. :-P Tomorrow is when I wake up and...stuff. Yeah.
Anywho, that was the summary of my weekend, I dullified it a lot because I had to and stuff. *yawns* John is going to get me hooked on FFXI if I don't watch out, he has it at his house and I made a character today...that game is fun man. I've been itching for a D&D game too, /and/ I'm still on the job hunt. So I have a lot to get done, and...yeah. I suppose I should get to some of that. Of course, that'll be tomorrow because it's 1 freaking AM right now.
