Complete Surprise
I woke up this morning to a phone call from my mom ...
"What are you doing?"
Getting ready to clean the kitchen. (I didn't wanna tell her it was late and I was still in bed).
"What time do you work?"
4. Why?
"Cuz I thought I'd stop by!"
*insert Leo's mouth dropping to the floor*
Yup, my mom's in town from Montana. Y'see, she was supposed to fly out and visit my stepdad at his job training in Georgia ... but he didn't like the job and quit the training. So that stuck my mom with a plane ticket to use. She switched it to a flight to CA, and here she is.
She told me not to change any plans that I already have ... but I would kinda feel bad NOT changing them. She's not coming by now, because I did tell her that I have to clean and that I have plans to go to the mall soon (which is true). I need to hide a few things that are in my room ... like the bottle of Vampyre Vodka and other alcohol items on my shelves ... I guess I'm fucked by the fact that we have a bar. hah, oh well.
