Musical Roommates
I found out two days ago via a letter from my landlord that my roommate will be moving out at the end of the month. Kinda short notice (if necessary, she is going to pay rent for June though, since she hasn't given an official 30-day notice yet). Seems she found a cheaper place to live with Kathryn, so they'll be moving in together. Jayme and I aren't ready to move out yet; we haven't looked around enough and definitely don't have enough to put down a deposit. It looks like Lea might move in with my briefly (since she'll be out of a place to live when Kathryn moves, too) until Jayme and I find a place. We're kinda playing musical roommates. We'll have to sneak Lea in though, because I'm fairly sure that my landlord will ask us to both sign another year lease, since that's what she did to Casey when I moved in.
Quite the long weekend at work, and it's not over yet. We open at noon today (so about right now), and we have some 430+ people coming in. I'm the closer, going in at 1:30pm and working until who-knows-when. Hopefully there'll be some money to be made, I definitely need it.
Provided I'm not too tired after work, I have to come home and try to get through some of this final week of homework. I know that everything is going to sneak up on me, and I have to anticipate that I won't have time to do homework on Wednesday since it's Jayme's birthday. I also have to try to pick up an extra day at work since I am taking Saturday off for the Bjork show, and Tuesday is really the only day that would work (which would give me just one less evening to work on homework).
I think that's all for now. Time to get ready for work in a few.
