So after 15 years of not having a driving license, I passed my practical driving test today and will be getting my license in a couple of days. yay me :)
Norway used to have a 2-phased system for driving licences. You passed it the first time, and got one valid for 2 years, then within the second year you had to take another practical test at the DMV to pass it again in order to get a permanent one. They removed this system in 94-95 or so. But since I never took Phase 2, mine exired back in 1993.
But because I have taken all the theory and mandatory segments all I needed to retake it was the practical driving test. And that we just fine today :)
So beware, the crazy viking is on the roads again.
