Xabi received the Lan Onari award which the Basque government grants to Basque personalities who excel in their disciplines and are considered role models, a medal for their work. These were handed out to him and others in a ceremony commemorating the 31st anniversary of the region's Autonomy Statute.
However there are no pics of that anywhere.
