I got the Utaite universe, Gakuen Babysitters, CLAMP universe and Dengeki Daisy
DASOKU was a shoo-in victory; he is forever the utaite-tono in my heart, even though Miichan and Shinshakajin come in close at second and third. I suspect the presence of cats is a strong factor here. I think c_e_ocean_dark was waiting for me to pick someone else or something but I thought long and hard about it and decided that Dasoku still wins out as compared to everyone else in the utaite universe. I think I ship him with either Ren or Gero. LOL Dasoku you cannot be so defenceless; fangirls will be onto you in seconds. Eh I like him because his voice is very cool and he has the nice smooth ballad-like voice - and even then he can still go into rock songs. Kya hahaha~ I think I end up mothering the people I fangirl over. Sigh~
KAMITANI HAYATO won USAIDA by like a fraction LOL because HE REMINDS ME TOO MUCH OF DOUMEKI LOL but I like him. I don't know if that's an accurate portrayal of an older brother but he's what I think older brothers are like because I don't have any. But I like his extremely no-nonsense, honest, direct and slightly couldn't-care-less attitude. It's very cool. Sometimes I wonder what is it like to be like that. XDDD I took quite a while with this mainly because I was trying to remember their names and faces I wasn't very sure who I was the most attached to. Usaida looks like a ton of fun too - because he knows how to blackmail people etc and he's one of the more experienced babysitters but I thought since I already had a lazy guy up there, I should give Kamita a chance. HAHAHAHA
FAI D. FLOWRIGHT because CLAMP messed up his life so damn badly. And I know not that many CLAMP series too... And he's the one that smiles a lot. It's quite refreshing. Haha sometimes I think I am occasionally like him - smiling a little too much for my own good but it's hard to tell. But I didn't really like how he clamped (haha punny) himself onto Sakura at the turning point of the series. It was so weird. I liked his chemistry with Kurogane~ And he's a mage. I like mages. So that's pretty much set. You just want to give him a hug after hearing his backstory because CLAMP wasabitch to him - did they purposely create him just to mess with his life? (And c_e_ocean_dark thought that I was cruel to my own characters...)
ONIZUKA RIKO is the older sister that all older sisters want to be. She's extremely super cool and really awesome. And she's not afraid to hold her own against the male lead, going so far as to deal him some serious damage when she thought he did something to the female lead. She's very cool. I think she was named after GTO's main character. Perhaps it was mentioned somewhere LOL. She's the strong, pretty female supporting lead that most shoujo manga lack - well when you think about it, girls like this tend to either be the heroine or the bad girl turned good in the end. Riko was good right from the start.
And from juin_kadsuki , I got Oresama Teacher, Harry Potter, Durarara!! and Kimi to Boku
OKEGAWA KYOUTAROU is currently the gang leader of the school of this manga and while he gives off a scary aura, as seen in this picture, there is a side of him that not many people get to see. Apparently he knows Morse code, is strangely romantic and slightly naive and can just be bloody stupid at times. He's so funny! The stupidity of the whole manga is so epic. I remember one chapter where he was talking about his normal day - because he sends letters to the female lead via messenger pigeon (LOLWUT) - and it was all about normal stuff and he started talking about a flower stalking him which got worse and worse and it just became VERY STUPID and I just died laughing. But he has a good heart. And probably a little something for the female lead too. But I think everyone in this manga is too stupid to realise their feelings so it will be a lot of hilarity before we see anything serious happening.
SIRIUS BLACK was played by Gary Oldman. Enough said. LOL but I do like Sirius' character. He's a super fun guy and I'd love to see how he was like in school with Lupin because I want to see how he tortured Lupin with his existence and being all stupid. Apparently he was extremely good-looking in the past but I can't ever imagine that so I just take like the temperments of the Weasley twins and add it up. He was probably a bit of a jerk then but well he's mellowed out much over the years... and he's apparently really smart too, for his age. And he has a flying motorcycle, for crying out loud! Awesomesauce! And I love big dogs, so it's all good. He's great to hug and sleep-in with especially since it's been raining quite a bit these few days LOL so practical
HEIWAJIMA SHIZUO was an obvious choice. He's dreadfully awkward and has epic strength and loves his brother to bits. I like his friendship with Celty - he laments about his normal relationships being restricted to his work and a faery LOL he doesn't like violence but he has a very very short temper and a lot of things piss him off so... xDDD his violence is an epic fun thing to watch in Durarara!! and Izaya hates him because apparently he's too stupid for Izaya to predict so he just ignores him. I remember how he got very happy because he didn't manage to kill anyone despite being terribly angry. Apparently the author once wrote a Shizaya fanfiction in honour of April Fool's Day and had a lot of fun with it, despite him having difficulties getting into the mind of a yaoi fangirl.
KANAME-CHI is the glasses-guy in the fourth picture, I'm sorry I couldn't find his full name online lol orz but I did the Asaba twins before so I wanted to do someone different today. He's got a short temper too and is extremely easy to make fun of, something that the twins do every time that they can. I really like how the author worked out their dynamics LOL he's really the universal scapegoat of almost everyone in the group. Sometimes I feel sorry for him but most of the time, I'm laughing too much to care. LOL
