So much things I want to do during Spring Break, so little time left (time sure does fly quickly.)

I’ve wanted to do so much on my spring break, but I worked this on the 3 most vital days of guaranteed entertainment from the beginning of my break (this past Sat-Mon.) My spring break is over on Tuesday, 5 more days, & I haven't been doing much but working, school-related work, & now, lazily lounging around. I worked through Calle Ocho (a huge, annual, outdoor street festival celebrating all Hispanic cultures & subcultures, from Afro-Cubans, to indigenous people of Brazil, to Italian-Argentineans & Spanish Reggae/Reggaeton artists performing onstage, located on 8th Street aka The Heart of Little Havana), I worked through the Renaissance Faire (mimicking the Medieval Times in Europe; mainly the UK, somewhere in Palm Beach County), & I missed Unite-A-Fest (a huge event celebrating mainly English-speaking Caribbean islands, such as Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, the Bahamas, etc, showing off mostly the black/African & East Indian ancestrial roots of the Carib community, located in Lauderhill.) Also, I wanted to go to Downtown Miami on March 26, to the Ultra Music Festival 7, so I can see some of my fav. techno artists (like DJ Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, & Erik Morillo). $65 for one ticket is too expensive for an outdoor rave festival in DAYLIGHT, mine you, so unfortunately I won’t be attending that. I have 2 speeches I have to memorize, catch up on assignments for English, not to mention, start my English research project due in April. Aghhh!!!1!!one!uno!!!11!!

The only things worth mentioning include getting to see my friend, Shantika, who I haven’t seen in person in literally half a year or so, & her 2-month old daughter, Tatiana-Ariana (what a pretty name for a pretty baby.) The baby’s hand is the size of my thumb. Sooo cute! Finding a $20 on the ground, at work on Monday, so I was happy about that.

Things that suck were high gas prices being crazy, & how I waste gas, as well as the $20 I found, just trying to search for the cheapest gas around. I drove out of my way to go to literally, the cheapest gas station in my county, which is always packed w/ cars, & takes forever to finally get into, having to wait even longer to move in & out of the cars jammed into the tiny station, while trying to avoid mini car accidents. $2.05 a gallon, & I ended up spending $25 just to get it on the "F." You’d think it’d be cheaper now that Bush’s money-hungry imperialism the “war on terror” in Iraq would make it cheaper. Blah! All this month, there’s spring-breakers everywhere, it’s like more flocks of college snowbirds show up every week. It’s getting annoying. Was supposed to go to a Jamaican restaurant (Aunt-I's) & chill w/ Tiffeny on Tues., but she cancelled last minute. Well that’s about it. Today Yesterday, I sunbathed naked in my backyard as well, of course covering my penis w/ a towel, god forbid that burned up. Ouch! I still need more tanning to go, probably later in the afternoon.

PS - I'm eating way too much lately. It's bad enough I've gained 20lbs since working at Cosi, but within 6hrs, I've eaten/drank a bottle of Arizona Asia Plum Green Tea, 2 glasses of cherry coke, one glass of water, one glass of soy milk, a red D'Anjou pear, a chicken empanada w/ spicy chimichurri sauce, & a fudge brownie. I smoked 4 cigarettes just to surpress the hunger, but it failed to do so. Oh, & the fact, mom cooked curry goat for dinner at 4pm-ish (her 1st attempt at cooking it, the result tasting equally as good as curry goat found in Jamaican restaurants, with a little Latin flare of seasonings, of course.)
