Sorry about my extreme cop-outish entries from the last two days. Both of them I did right as my family was about to sit down and watch movies. So now, I'll try to cover what I did in the last two days and my plans for today and tomorrow.
Thanksgiving was AMAZING. Everything was so yummy, lots of people complimented my mango stuffing, and I managed to get the perfect amount of food so as not to explode, but to be completely full anyway, but not uncomfortably so. Then most of us went for a walk in the woods and we each had our own umbrella to use, so none of that awkward umbrella-sharing awkwardness. Afterwards there was the traditional Thanksgiving Day song, and then the scene of my mom trying to tell Charlie which chords to play on guitar, and ignoring the fact that he doesn't know any chords, except this time it was my cousin Ben instead of Charlie. Then we played Taboo and had lots of fun, and watched Notting Hill, which is apparently my uncle John's favorite movie.
Yesterday we drove over to the coast. I loved seeing Tessa get so excited about the ocean-this was only the tenth time she's ever seen it in her life, which is crazy to me. I read my book for class, The Lovely Bones, and I finished my reading for Monday already. It has gone by so fast. I really enjoy this book. I guess it's easier to read than most things I read for school because it was written closer to now than anything else. Anyway yesterday when we got home we watched Up and Wimbledon, two of the best movies ever.
Today my mom woke up sick, so all my plans besides going to Writers of the Universe fell through. Actually I think afterwards we are all meeting up to go to Mazzi's. And then I'm going back to my apartment. Tomorrow is a day of complete freedom: No work, no school, no homework, NO REASON TO WAKE UP BEFORE I'M READY. Not that there has been at any time this weekend. I think maybe I want to call Charlie or the nerds tonight. I miss them. I haven't seen Sean in a long time. We'll see. But perhaps something awesome will ensue tonight/tomorrow.
For now, it's time to play The Sims... with headphones.
P.S. Tomorrow I'll write my entry about what I'm thankful for. I'll do it! Really I will!
P.P.S. I think NaBloPoMo is almost over!!!!!! Wow, great. Fewer pointless entries in the future. But I'll still try to write many meaningful/awesome ones.
