You are the apple of my eye eye eye

A rainy weekend full of fun.

Lucy and I recorded the vlog, which has an unexplained presense of seals. Which I will continue to leave unexplained in this post.

Then I went to Sean's and lounged around on the sofa and then Leighton suggested crepes from Supreme Bean for dinner, then we went to Bad Seed at SEHS. It was pretty good, but it didn't compare to the one where Helene was Rhoda, ages and ages ago. Apart from that being professional theatre, with, ya know, actual adults playing the roles of adults instead of high schoolers, it may have had something to do with the fact that I was a lot younger then as well. But SEHS's was still pretty dang awesome, I thought. Except, OMG. During one scene, a spider decided to descend from the ceiling via web, and was hanging, face height, in a place where all the characters were walking, and the whole audience felt like the actors couldn't see it, and they all came like an inch from walking into it, so the whole audience was sort of quietly freaking out about that instead of paying attention to the scene. AAAAH. Luckily then it decided to go to the floor. So yeah. Terrifying. But the play was good.

After that some people went to Leighton's and had a very small dance party in his very small basement, then hot tubbed, all of us wearing his shorts except Sean, who decided to go in wearing his jeans. (???) It was softly rainy and the rain on the face, and the body in the hot tub. Very nice. Then most of us went back to Sean's house and watched Slumdog Millionaire, which was quite good, but I was falling asleep for some of it. After that there was fort-building with couches, lamps, sheets, blankets, couch cushions, and lots and lots of torque, just because of the people I hang out with...

The next morning we were like, OMG, let's do something awesome, then Camille suggested riding ponies at her house. So, Sean, Leighton, River, and I took a spontaneous roadtrip to the country and rode horses. I didn't ever steer, because I don't really want to entrust my method of travelling to someone I can't communicate with, but I was definitely on horses! We went fast!!! Then we made delicious cookies and watched Dr. Horrible, and then fought with boffers. After that I ended up at Sean's (again) and existed on the couch and listened to music at the park. Then around 7pm I called up Lucy and the conversation went something like this:

Me: Lucy, I'm bored and everyone's making up characters for a Scion game or sleeping. Come over.
Lucy: No, you come over here and help me clean my room. It smells weird.
Me: River thinks you should come over.
Lucy: If you come over I'll give you cheesecake, orange cake, strawberries, and cherry popsicles.
Me: But I don't know if I want to get up.
Lucy: We can watch The Prestige!
Me: But I'm too tired to watch The Prestige.
Lucy: But it's too gross-looking outside to bike.
Me: You can sit on Sean's couch with me!
Lucy: I have a couch too.
Me: Sean has a better couch.
Lucy: All your arguments for me to come over also work for why you should come over.
Me: Yeah, but all your arguments also work for why you should come over.

Yeah, so pretty much imagine that, but for twenty minutes. Then I finally gave up and said "So I guess you're not coming over?" And she was like, "I never said that!" And then commenced to bring a Tupperware of cheesecake for me, and toothbrush. Talk about the best person ever. We worked on a slideshow of our life together, watched How I Met Your Mother online, and were generally ridiculous. Then I fell alseep and had a depressing dream where Kenzie and I were quarantined in this forest grove because we were carriers of swine flu. We just had to sit amongst the dead, decaying leaves, and all the mummified bodies of everyone who had died of swine flu. Worst dream ever. But I just talked to Charlie and he said that still nobody in the US has died of swine flu, except a toddler who was on vacay from Mexico, so she was actually Mexican, not American. So my dream is pretty much irrelevant, and also, why would we bring back mummification? Huh... dreams...

This morning I biked back to my dorm and met up with my mom. We got brunch at Carson. Then I read some Sartre for about half an hour... probably about 4 out of 30 pages. Why am I so bad at reading??!?!?!?! However, I did have an awesome set-up where I used the book to prop up a pillow, so I could read the book without holding it up, lying on my back with the book at a 100° angle from my stomach. So my hands were warm and cozy under the covers. Then, after realizing it was actually an hour earlier than I had thought it was, I had a nice little nap, and then went to work.

So that's what happened. Now it's not even time for my weekly end of procrastination-fest yet, because I don't actually have all that much homework yet. It's a big successs.

Also, Nick??? WHAT IS LOVE!??!?!?!? NOW???!?!?!??! PLZKTHXBAI DFTBA
