Daily Disneyland Downlow: Day 2 (I sense a disturbance in the force.)

Mar 24, 2009 00:09

I'm super tired. Why did I say I was going to do a Daily Disneyland Downlow again??? And then make the first post??? Because the first daily post implies a second one, so now I've got to do it even though I'm super sleepy.

Well, we went to Disneyland today. We went on Peter Pan ride, Astro Orbiter, Teacups, and Matterhorn. I mean, I actually convinced my mom to go on an intense rollercoaster. WOW! She survived, she said, but she didn't enjoy it. But was still glad she went. As for me, I thought it was AWESOME. After the Matterhorn we went back to the hotel and I took a midday nap with strange dreams that left me disoriented. After a while we went back to Disneyland and went on the Mark Twain steam boat. The captain picked out this old couple and let them come up into the steering room thing and the old guy got to ring the bell and blow the whistle and whatnot, and he looked so happy and adorable. Aww. Plus everything was shiny lights at night. Then it was time for fireworks (which, incidentally, in Spanish, are called fuegos artificiales but I don't think it's actually artificial fire...) which I wasn't super stoked about. But they were AMAZINGLY EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRAZY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, so, after that it was time for Tarzan's treehouse, a walkthrough tour thingy where you go in a treehouse thing. The first thing with no line so far! Then two times around on the carousel (my mom's favorite ride ever, which, admittedly, is awesome) and a walk through Sleeping Beauty's castle, then back to the hotel. And now I really, really, really want to sleep.

BUT!!! OMG!!!! I have to tell you about Jedi training school. There we were, eating our cheeseburgers, when these Jedis came out and selected kids from a crowd to be in Jedi training school. Then this Jedi guy trained them with a lightsaber move and was then like, "Oh, no, students! I sense a disturbance in the Force!" and there were two Stormtroopers and then Darth Vader and Darth Maul came out of the ground on a platform and each individual young Padawan had to fight Darth Vader with the sweet lightsaber moves he or she had learned. And Darth Vader was like, "Students! Join the Dark Side! Continue your training with me!" and all the students were like "NO WAY!!! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!!!!!" So, in the end, good prevailed over evil like it always does, in the happiest place on Earth, anyway. It was pretty much epic.

roller coasters, dreams, naps, nerdery
