Possibly one of my favorite smells.
Party was epic. But as is usually the case with parties, I never feel like going into details about them. So you can just deal.
Camping was... camping. I biked around the lake four times. Do you realize that's 48 miles of biking????!?!?!!!?! And I mean, when you add in other biking I did around the campground, and to the neighboring RV park to steal their electricity in my plan for world domination and iPod charging, that's like 50 miles. So do you realize???? I've biked 50 miles in the past week. Maybe more. I'm practically superhuman.
JK,JK.
I also read like 537952382398347432 pages of books. Sophie's World, which I found very interesting. At times frustrating because philosophy can be quite dreary, but when you think about it, reading that is 5000 times better than reading actual works of philosophy. I also wonder how anyone in IHS could have stopped reading it after only 100 pages or whatever. Seriously. You guys must have problems. Oh and my favorite part: situational irony. Hilde ponders the fact that Sophie and Alberto aren't real, they are merely creations of her father's mind, living their lives in ink on typewritten pages. She thinks that she may possibly be living the same reality, and that she would never have any way of knowing for sure. All the while, as the reader, you're reading about it. See the irony? Brave New World was confusing, although much easier to get through than 1984. Much more interesting. Then when I finished that I started this book that was my summer reading prize. Which, BTW, because I'm a member of Teen Advisory Group, I picked out on our bookbuying trip. I lead an excellent life. The book is pretty interesting. Sweet. Touching. The works.
And now... where am I? In my house, I suppose. Going to Teen Writer's Group [and I better hurry up and write the coverage of the last one by tomorrow morning or the staff of Groundwaters is going to think I'm a loser] then Romeo and Juliet at Free Shakespeare in the park with Lucy!!!! I love the idea of free Shakespeare in the park. It's just so marvelous. And you know it happens at my favorite time to be outdoors. Before the sun sets, when the light casts just beautifully on the trees. Then County Fair on Sunday. N'stuff. That's as fair ahead as I have planned. Oh wait no, lies. On Monday or Tuesday Seth and I are going to make the pilgrimmage to the wonderland of our childhoods, ENCHANTED FOREST. Wheeeee. I need to look up costs and stuff for that. So I shall go do that, and leave you to ponder my slightly ADD musings.
