1 day, just follow us around for 1 day at the VA and see the level of gross inefficiency and acute lack of proper care, not to mention the buck passing, and then say with a straight face that the government has any business managing anyone's health care.
The words "negligence" and "lawyer" came out of my mouth today. Instead we decided to file for a rerate. A rerate can't get us any more money, since he's unemployable already and gets paid the max, but it's really just the principle of the thing.
What could have been trivially corrected years ago had his GP listened to a DAMNED WORD either of us said, is now so bad that the TOP surgeon at Duke isn't sure that even surgery can fix him now.
