High Definition
You can't know anything about technology and not know about High Definition. I've known about it since AS Electronics, and I've heard plenty about it recently in all the adverts and marketing.
Today though, I saw HD properly for the first time. And it was amazing. At Sony, they are doing various things in various departments, and close to me is erm... actually I'll stop there before I say anything I shouldn't.
Close to me they have a very nice, very high resolution screen showing various high definition clips. And one of those clips happened to be from a recent, very high budget sci-fi film. And it looked absolutely stunning. Now I really appreciate why people are making as much of a fuss about HD as they are. It really isn't just marketing.
