Pnc Bank arts review

Last night I saw A Perfect Circle for my second time. I went with Alex,Bobby,Padre, and Nick+Johnny. We arrived early, thank god. Opening band was entitled Mini Kiss, aka a midgets dressed up as the members of kiss doing kareoke with fake instruments. The next band up was The Burning Brides who were an allright band in my opinion. Musicially they were pretty good, talented bass player and drummer. They only had 3 members, nirvana style. Next up was APC, the band everyone was waiting for. The lights went down and you saw the band members take the stage(mind you i was sitting in the second row). The setup was all these dead trees around the stage composed of fiber optics. Amazing lighting as well. Ill give a setlist.

Vanishing
Pet
The Hollow
Magladena
Weak and Powerless
Orestes(extended version with alternate lyrics)
Blue
Brena
A Stranger
Thinking of you
Three Libras
The Package
Gravity
The Outsider
The Noose
Judith

I think the energy of the band was great, except for James Iha. We had comments to the audience about Howard Stern, and saying shit fuck. Josh played with a broken leg(drummer) and between A Stranger you could see him in crutches being hoisted up to his drum kit. The dead trees would change colors with the music, and just about every style and color of light was flashed during the music. Billy Howerdel was very on target guitar wise, and threw his slide to the audience. Josh was playing so hard on his set you could literally see sweat fly feet and feet from the set. Hopefully someone bootlegged this show. At the ending the band members smiled and threw water bottles and picks, and Billy bowed down as if begging for something, but was really just thanking us for being there. He waved and was off. This was an amazing show musicially, and visually.

Other than hicks puking and these girls moving our seats down to the right, the night was great.
