(no subject)
In about 3 hours I'll be getting my hair chemically relaxed. I'm really excited. I'll get it cut after it's straightened. I hope it works this time though. A few years ago I spent $60 to have my hair look exactly the same. That was fun.
Ryan and I are finally moved up in Tallahassee (for the most part). We have to drive separate cars up on Sunday night or Monday morning. That drive will suck. It's so far. And the apartment is still crap. They haven't fixed one thing we've asked them to yet. It's already been a month! And we still don't have blinds in our rooms...the shower is leaking...there's dog poop hanging from our porch (the people above us decided it was a good idea to let their dog crap out there...smart)...and there's other stuff here and there that they should fix. Their method of writing down a service request is to put it on a sticky note. Bastards. Ryan went down to them to tell them (for the third time) that our shower was leaking...and he said they moved up from sticky notes! They're using legal pad paper now. lol...I swear. I think I'm going to make my own service request forms...put the date we requested service on it...have them print and sign their names...and have them make a copy of it. That way if they don't fix things in a timely manner, we can take it to management.
Enough of my venting. School starts on Monday. Well..it starts on Tuesday for me since I got all of my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays! :) I'm majoring in Sociology and minoring in Psychology. I'm taking 5 courses this semester: Adolescent Development, Abnormal Psychology, Microeconomics, Methods of Social Research, and Family Problems/Social Change. Should be fun. I've applied to both hospitals in Tallahassee for 3 transcriptionist positions and 1 medical records position. I've also applied to all Walgreens pharmacies for the pharmacy tech position. Hopefully I'll get a call soon that way I don't have to take out loans already. I'll save loans for Law school.
I know I don't update in here much. I'll try to more often. I love reading everyone else's entries so I guess it'd only be fair to let everyone have to sit through one of my boring entries every now and then. :)
