It's been... One Week!
Well not quite, but random song lyrics often make great entry titles!
Anywho... So yeah. I'm back here in Indiana now and I have to say that I want to go back to Colorado. I love my family and such here, but after my trip with Jeff up to Ft. Collins last week. Man! I love it! It's so crazy just how much the CSU campus and surrounding area reminds me of Purdue. BEAUTIFUL! I have decided, without a doubt, that I will apply for their MSW program. The only question is... when do I want to start?
Still no word on the job with Mosaic. I did find out that a position I applied for with another agency has re-opened. I guess the person hired in found their dream job w/in the first week. They are asking for a little bit more than what I am qualified for, but I'm thinking a bit of negotiation might help out. Lower pay for education? Maybe!
The last bit of time in CO was great. I fell in love with Ft. Collins, went on that 3rd interview, drove around Denver by myself, went to Colorado Mills for some shopping, booked a spa with my aunt's gay hairdresser for his staff, went to the Renaissance Festival, Casa Bonita, and hung out with the family. It was a whirlwind of a trip yet very relaxing. I can't wait to go back in August!
PGI is coming up and is out in WY again. I'm not sure who all is going with the family this year. I know Mom and I will go, but Terry and Gary can't and Sam doesn't really want to due to school. It'd be nice if we could all go back as this was our first venue. No matter who attends, I'm very excited that my friend Dave from ND is going! Finally someone my age to hang out with!
Hope everyone had a great fourth yesterday! I'm off to decide the fate of random things in my room. They will either stay or go (recycle, trash, or donate) cus I'm sick of the mess!
