♥ There are many wonderful valentine messages here. Reading them all fills me with warm fuzzy feelings (and thank you to everyone who left me a message - you've made my day!). I wanted to do a 'comment here and I'll say something nice about you' thing, but I'm British, and hopeless at doing that without the safe veil of anonymity! So I shall just blow kisses into the air, and you can catch one if you want!

♥ I'm cracking up reading the great pancake debate. In conclusion, I'll just offer you my foolproof method (I've been making them like this since I was a kid, easy-peasy).
3 oz wheatmeal flour
1 oz self-raising flour
pinch salt
1 egg
1/2 pint milk
Beat flour, salt, egg and half the milk. Mix in the remainder of the milk and leave it to sit for a few minutes. Cook 'em in a hot pan with a little oil. Sprinkle with brown sugar and lemon juice (or jam or fruit and cream). Nom!
♥ And finally, I have one thing to say about last night's Chicago Fire. Severide and a baby! I don't even like babies, but Severide and a baby!!! sying, we got Severide and a baby, multiple times!
Okay, maybe more than one thing. I am growing to despise Matt's mother. The way she manipulated him at the end, trying to shift some of the blame of his father's murder onto him, that was cold and cruel, and I hope he stands by his decision to kick her out.
But in conclusion, Severide's getting up in the night to see to the baby!!! I might have had hearts in my eyes at that point.
