And now for Chicago Fire. Wow, poor Ernie, and poor Chief Boden. I didn't think that story line was going to end particularly well, but that was horrific. I keep thinking of what he would have gone through, trying to get out, and of course Boden would have exactly the same picture in his head. What with having a tough/upsetting case at work today, and feeling tired and under the weather and overly emotional, this was guaranteed to have me in tears.
Otis! ♥ I loved his glee at getting to drive the truck, and I love hearing a bit of backstory (so he might have ended up at medical school), and all the guys in the other station house being fans of his podcast, but oh, I do hope he doesn't leave.
I'm probably on my own in fandom about this: I'm really glad Clarice is back. I love her and Shay together. Also, Casey can move in with Severide, and baby-sit, and they can be one big happy family!
On the other hand (and I'm sure this isn't just my ambivalence towards Dawson speaking), wtf is Dawson doing with Peter Mills and Casey. Talk about trying to have your cake and eat it too!
I'm glad Severide made the decision for himself in the end. I anticipate scares during his recovery, and an eventual miraculous full recovery, for this is TV land!! Interesting to see him with his father - so much emotional distance there. I get the feeling Shay's taught him how to open up over the years, but he's still not very good at it.
I know this isn't the best TV show around, but damn, I am so invested in these characters!
