Football, Prometheus, my new iPad and icon awards (they're totally unrelated)
+ For the first time ever, I have a vague interest in Euro 2012, for the simple reason that for every W, D or L prediction that I get right, I get 50p towards train travel. So far, I'm at a staggering 25% correct, so a whole £1.00!
+ I was going to post about Prometheus last week, but as I can sum up my reaction in one word, codswallop, I won't bother.
+ I bought my new iPad, and am in lurrrrve. I went with the 64 GB version, so it's getting the newborn baby treatment, only I'd probably be less terrified holding a baby. I've ordered a leather case, but until that arrives, it doesn't leave the house, and it spends most of the time wrapped up (not quite in cotton wool, but close).
Any suggestions for a good calendar app for it? I'd be perfectly happy with the Google calendar app, but (a) I'm avoiding Google as much as possible since their new lack-of-privacy policy, (b) my iPhone calendar suddenly lost everything prior to Jan 2012, and (b) when I synced my iPhone and iPad, only about half the dates came over to my iPad. So I'm after something that will let me transfer all my current information, and then will sync properly between the two. Ideally not too expensive, but I don't mind paying if it works properly.
