Antonio sighed unhappily as he stared out over the training yard. It was a beautiful day, he'd just finished a good workout, they were doing okay against Master Xandred and his Nighloks.......
Only thing missing was the one person he *really* wanted to impress. Antonio wasn't interested in playing games, in hiding his feelings, in any of that silliness. He wanted to tell Jayden. Badly.
Well, okay, there was *some* fear there, because what if he screwed it up and Jayden laughed at him? Or said gently, kindly, that yes he knew but no he didn't feel the same way? But mostly he was unafraid of Jayden's reaction and just wanted to *do* it. Mostly.
The problem was Jii. Jii wouldn't let Jayden date. Not a chance of it. And while Jayden was his own guy, and damn well did go against Jii's wishes now and then, this wouldn't be something that'd help the team in the fight against Master Xandred, so he'd just listen to Jii.
"I don't want him to have to make that choice," Antonio groaned to himself, then he felt two deft fingers grab his ear and yank him to his feet. He yelped.
"Come with me," Jii said imperturbably, hauling him along the corridor.
Antonio struggled, but Jii had a firm grip. "Why? What? What did I do wrong? I did my training, and I'm really sorry about that cup-"
"No, you- what cup?!"
"...never mind. Where are we-?"
Antonio was near thrown into a room. Jayden's room. Where Jayden sat cross legged on his bed, gazing at them both with his eyebrows up.
Huh.
Sighing, Jii moved to the door. "No, it's not what I'd choose, but you're both adults, and it'd make you both happy. So in that way it's good for the team. Now. Talk. Work this out. I don't want to deal with any more moody silences and soulful gazes."
The door shut behind him. Antonio moved his astonished look from Jii, to Jayden.

It's GREAT. Like, pretty much exactly what I wanted only with ear-pulling that I didn't even realized I'd wanted and is great and *flail.*
