Can I ask, is that circular scribble pattern on the bottom a single brush?

I wasn't sure whether I should hope for fic or art because you do both so amazingly, but I love this A LOT. The picture choice, use of textures/brushes, the fiery colouring, it all works together so well and makes for a great wallpaper. And my favourite thing might just be the text, it is perfect.
So please know you just put a huge smile on my face (and a fantastic new wallpaper on my desktop)! :D

Yay, I'm so glad you weren't disappointed - I've been trying to write fic for as many prompts as I can, but I just blanked on this one. And I'm happy you liked the text - I was trying to go for something about adventure, but then I thought of that saying 'try again, fail again, fail better', and it seemed to suit itself to being adapted to Jack!

Really gorgeous! I love the colours and the contrast of the bright riot of the oranges and yellows to the black. I can't really put into words why the screencap of Jack is perfect for the concept, but there's something intangible there that's bang on.

I think that picture worked because of the way he looks as though he's gazing out into space/the future - I threw in light textures because that seemed to fit his expression. So thanks for picking up on all of that! <3
