I loathed it! It meant I had to sort through my inbox, sort through gmail, and outlook express - the same messages, three times! Argh, drove me nuts. Now if Dreamwidth can apply the same fix, I shall be very happy.

I love that site! (From time to time it doesn't work for me, though. When that happens I just do a twitter search for 'livejournal' or 'gmail' or whatever site appears to be down and most often find a dozen bitchy tweets. :D)

Haha, good idea! I always used to go over to greatest journal whenever livejournal appeared to be down - there'd soon be a post over there wailing about the lack of lj!
