So there's this meme going around. Something on the lines of 'if you could make me write you any story, what would it be?' Go for it! Tell me. I might even possibly one day maybe write it. And we'll ignore the fact that we're now eleven days into the new year and I still haven't done a writing roundup for last year. But I am writing, a few words at a time. There's that.
If I could make YOU write anything, it would be a toss up between Generation Kill - Nate and Brad huddling for warmth (maybe they're caught out in a blizzard, and they have to get nekkid to share body-heat) and all sorts of sexual tension and manful ignoring of it and snark and banter to disguise how they're feeling and then they kiss (because I do love the good cliches, and if you say you can't write Generation Kill fic because you haven't seen the show, then that's easily resolved) or White Collar - Neal and Peter (and Elizabeth would be a bonus) banter and snark and mocking of each other with barely disguised subtext or Fugitive Kind - Leo Gwendelbaum fic of any size or shape (and yes, it's because Stark Sands played him, I own up to it.) Though I might be tempted to make you write Burn Notice - a casefile involving Victor, with lots of Michael and Victor snark, or Chuck - Bryce and Chuck on a mission, saving each other's lives and exchanging witty banter in the process and maybe even falling in love with each other, or Stargate SG-1 - Daniel/Cameron, with lots of witty banter. Or Castle - Ryan and Esposito UST and banter. Sense a theme or three?!
