Supernatural 4x17 - It's a Terrible Life
Last night, before either of us knew a thing about the episode, lazy-daze gave me the following prompt (for failing my writing target on Wednesday): write a mini coda to 4.17 wherein something makes Sam genuinely smile. If anyone's got any specific ideas, tell me! Otherwise, I think I'll have to attempt something in which they don't get their memories back right away, and the sexual tension just bubbles over. Either that, or they do get their memories back and Sam is overcome with glee at the idea of Dean detoxxing, wearing braces and driving a Prius. A PRIUS!!!
The problem is, I can't write at the moment, and it's so frustrating. It's weird how easy it is sometimes, dialogue falling over itself to come out, ideas bursting all over the place. And other times there's just this blankness, and I can't even remember how it feels to write.
So, 4.17. Only five more episodes to go. Eeeek.
Whoa, SEXUAL TENSION!! So that's how Sam and Dean would be around each other if they didn't know they were brothers!
For favourite moment, I'm torn between Dean thinking Sam's hitting on him in the lift, and Dean and Sam eagerly lapping up information from the Ghostfacers. Though Sam revealing that he dreams about Dean was up there!
I just wish we could have had a Sam'n'Dean ending to wrap it up, but that's a minor gripe, really.
I'd have more to say, but I've spent most of the time I would have spent talking about the episode trying to sort out why I can't upload to my website. Turns out Dreamhost instituted a file limit, without bothering to mention it (as far as I know), and half way through uploading the caps for this episode, I exceeded the limit. Grrr. Anyway, I've deleted stuff, and managed to cut back enough to get the gallery up, but the zip files for now are on other hosts - sorry about that.
