If I get this posted this evening, at least it'll still be in the same week as my birthday (if not the same month). Gah, crazy busy week, so I've not been around livejournal much, other than for new Supernatural, but I want to thank everyone who left me birthday messages (

littledrop and
vinylroad).
Besides the smiles all you LJ peeps put on my face, the day turned out a whole lot different/better than I expected (the plan: work all day, drinks with a few friends in the evening). After work, I was KIDNAPPED!! And BLINDFOLDED!!!! And driven to a secret location, which turned out to be a surprise party! 33 years old, and I just had my first surprise party - WHEEE!!!
I can't share quite all my goodies yet (
lazy-daze has dirty fic still to post - some of you might be able to guess what she's written me), but here are some simply wonderful stories. I knew my flist is talented, but I was still overwhelmed by these.
Honeycomb by
innie_darling [Pushing Daisies, Vivian, Lily, Chuck, PG-13, 1,000 words]
you are my forgetful by
littledrop [Supernatural, Sam/Dean, NC-17, 2,417 words]
barn swallow by
vinylroad (Supernatural, Sam/OFC, adult, 2,593 words]
Old Friends by pheebs1 [Gilmore Girls, Dean/Rory, 100 words]
(I know I linked this before, but it was an early birthday present, so I want to put it with all my birthday goodies).

Also late, my fic round-up for January - one longish Supernatural story, and a ton of porn (some dirty, some more sweet than porn) in eight different fandoms!
never been afraid to die, and not afraid to live [Stargate Atlantis, Ronon/Keller, PG-13, 625 words.]
It's been a long time, and it's strange, this mixture of protect and want. Ronon's almost forgotten how it goes.
an experiment in memory (time-lapse photography) [A Zed and Two Noughts (a Peter Greenaway film), Oswald Deuce/Oliver Deuce, NC-17, twincest, 682 words.]
Automatic sequence, one frame a minute. One hundred minutes. An experiment in memory.
Go on little girl, feet twirl, go and make him smile [Gilmore Girls, Dean/Rory, NC-17, 1,103 words, future fic.]
He always makes her giddy.
all that is left is all that i hide [Brokeback Mountain, Ennis/Jack, 438 words, R.]
Weren't no fanciness about the two a them. It weren't no sweet loving by the fireside, no matter if years did have a way of making things look rosy, all soft and pretty with nostalgia.
the inside of out [Life, Charlie, adult, 418 words.]
His sky, his air. Wide open space, and he tips back his head and looks up at the sky, clear and cloudless, the deep blue of distance. Everything's far away. He can hold his arms out wide and touch nothing.
hang up your hang-ups and climb into bed [Gossip Girl, Chuck/girls, Chuck/Nate, adult, het/slash, 314 words.]
Chuck Bass has expectations.
take off my flesh and sit in my bones [Supernatural, Sam/Dee, AU, winsister, NC-17, 1,450 words.]
Tiny breasts, like sandcastles washed over by the tide, tan soft and warm like sand; body still bones and promise.
this near wild heaven [Stardust (movieverse), Tristan/Yvaine, pathetically mild R, 226 words.]
She shines brightest for him alone.
a lie the size of the sky [Supernatural, Dean/Sam, PG-13, 12,738 words]
It feels familiar, the soul of the town. Acuqileena agrees, pecking him on the ear as she lands back on his shoulder, claws sharp through his jacket. "It was a long time ago," she whispers, "before I flew often."
And now I'd better write something, or not only will I have
lazy-daze beating me up, but
vinylroad too. I am a battered writer, folks. *sad face*
ETA: Very important, because it is happy making -
