Please, would someone (or better yet, multiple peoples with different browsers) do me a favour and take a look at my caps site and tell me if you can save individual caps from it. You're supposed to be able to go to a slide and click 'save as' on the pictures (I have the save setting enabled when I'm making the galleries), but it isn't working for ( Read more... )

Yes, that's what I mean. But I go to say, this page: http://caps.oxoniensis.org/caps/sga/319/slides/sga319_45.html and I right click and there's no 'save as' option. So I had this horrible panic that the entire gallery is useless for people who want to browse and save the occasional picture.

It worked for me, using IE 6.0 (I'm at work) - I saved a Shawn Spenser and a Dan Rydell, thank you very much!

I'm glad it's at least working for IE people - sadly, it doesn't seem to work for anyone in Firefox. :-(

Yes, I tried a random episode of SPN and also the first ep of Torchwood, and I was able to right-click save a shot from each.

May I ask what browser you're using? Only so far, it's not worked for anyone who uses Firefox...

IE 6. I can try again at home on Firefox this evening if you're still having trouble.

Thanks! I appreciate the offer, but we've now definitely established that it's a Firefox compatibility issue with the gallery script I'm running. *sigh*

Hey love - I only get a 'save link as' choice - should I get a 'save image as' choice? I tried YA and Entourage and I opened the gallery, then clicked on individual pic, then right clicked.

That's what I'm getting - judging by the response, it might be a Mozilla thing. Bugger!

It definitely doesn't seem to be working for firefox people. *sad face*

vicki -- I also am not having it work in Firefox (on a PC), but it does work in IE. Do you know enough about javascript to figure out why?

Thank you so much! I'm totally out of my depth here - I just used JAlbum to produce the galleries, and the only modification I've made it to add the links at the bottom of the page. It's really frustrating to think that I've ended up making galleries that aren't a lot of use to half the fans they're intended for.
