New Supernatural OMG
I was writing Sam/girl!Dean in my head this morning. The only thing I'll say outside cut-tags about having new Supernatural to watch is that it's really hard to go back to writing girl!Dean after just watching guy!Dean.
I am just beyond excited that I got to see the new episode today. I'm all right with hiatuses (is that the plural - sounds wrong?) right up until the last few days, and then I start feeling a bit sick and nervous and I just want them right that second NOW!
I'm all over the place now. Didn't even have a chance to process it properly - I will when I watch a big version tomorrow, I think. But, for now, I'm just so full of love for those boys (and Bobby gets counted in as one of the boys now).
Random thoughts. Very random.
Sam's, "Dean, are you conscious," followed by his, "Oh, God," was just the best. And then, "Let me see your knife." "What for?" "So I can gouge my eyes out." "It's a beautiful natural act, Sam." "It was a part of you I never wanted to see, Dean." And Sam's bitch face with Dean's glee face. I am so glad that is now canon. Also, that's the second canon threesome for Dean, hee! Best of all was Sam deliberately sitting right outside, and Dean drawing the flimsiest curtains everywhere and stripping off the (first) girl in front of them and Sam!! What with Dean watching Sam with Sarah and now this, they do like a bit of voyeurism, those boys. *LOVES*
What the hell sort of accent were Isaac and Tamara supposed to have? It made me wince, though not as much as Isaac chugging down that bleach - that I could barely watch. I had a bad second when Bobby was left alone with that demon too - shoulda trusted Bobby knew what he was doing!
Dean dealing with Lust? Cool! (Also, Lust toying with Tamara was kinda hot, which I'll probably go to hell for saying, seeing as Isaac was being killed right then.) Sam left with three demons on his own, not so cool.
Those looks Dean and Sam gave each other while they were waiting for the demons to track them down. ♥
The boy king. Interesting.
The new chick, with the knife. Could be interesting. I like what I saw of her so far. (I'm trying not to be spoiled about her at all, and I don't really even have any speculation at this point, beyond the fact that she looks about Sam's age, which could be deliberate.)
On the less superficial side, I love that both Sam and Dean are dealing (badly) in their own ways. Dean is being a jerk, and Sam can't keep his mouth shut when he should, and you can just tell this is a fight that is going to go on and on. And it's also clear that they're fighting because they love each other so much, that they can't deal properly because they love each other so much, no matter what they say.
