Wasn't Burn Notice on last night? I thought it was the season finale or something.

Speaking of Michael, two quick recs.

Something on the Books by romanticalgirl - Michael's past and present, who he is, and who he's scared of becoming. Lovely character study.

18 and 5½ Lessons They Don’t Teach You In Spy School by hackthis - I wanted Burn Notice slash, and pairing ( Read more... )

The thing is, I bet most people will claim they use their indicators, but some of them are LYING.

Definitely! I have some little roundabouts near me, and if people don't indicate I have to sit there waiting for them, in case they're going around, but so few indicate. And it really bugs me, because people are *supposed* to indicate. And not only for cars, but for pedestrians who might be wanting to cross the road too. /ranty pants

Honestly, it's SO LITTLE EFFORT. I don't understand why people are so resistant.

There was a bit about turn signals indicators in Shoot 'Em Up, where Clive Owen's character complained about people not using them, and it was probably one of the only parts I actually enjoyed.

Hee, I've hit on another Brit/American difference, haven't I?! I didn't even think that you might call them something else. Ah well, there's always the 'huh?' button. *g*

I chose "some other format I will tell you in the comments" with regards to the way long fic is posted because I actually don't have one particular preference over another (as long as multi-part fic on LJ *is* linked within the sections).

I don't have a huge preference, unless it's a really long story, and split up into fairly small parts (I read a 20,000 word story a while back, and it was split into 5 posts, which was weird - it hadn't been posted as a wip or anything) in which case I'm not so keen.

As for not linking parts, that's definitely weird - I don't understand it. It's almost as though the author doesn't want me to read the next part! It also makes it hard to rec.

when the revolution comes, people who say "pin number" are going against the wall with the ones who say "isbn number" and "chai tea."

Mmm, Maltesers. I had gorgeous Malteser cake at our charity coffee morning at work today.

I don't drive and never have, but as a pedestrian it drives me crazy when drivers don't indicate.

And apparently slodwick and I think alike! *g* At least when it comes to the Winchester boys.

Malteser cake sounds extremely good!

I think drivers just ignore pedestrians a lot of the time, just don't think that it's helpful for them if they indicate.

MALTED MILK BALLS!! NOT maltesers... what are you British? ;)

I do not believe there is any way that I will EVER watch SPN, mostly because I just do NOT have the time to catch up. But I've had TWO DREAMS involving Dean Winchester/Jensen Ackles in the last week, it's like he's WOOING ME to watch it. So weird.

According to Slod, they're Whoppers. Which makes sucking on them sounds awfully dirty!

I think you should listen to Dean! *nods*
