One of the many things I love about Friday Night Lights is that the missing scenes were all up on the official website, and they weren't blocked to non-Americans, like most. But I never did find a way to save them, and they weren't the best quality, so here they are as DVD rips. And a 20 minute behind the scenes piece too (which has got a section ( Read more... )

Thanks for this ! I will be getting the DVD but I haven't seen the behind the scenes *grabby hands*

If you are interested I bought the cd of the soundtrack, and uploaded it here .

And a deleted Tami and Tyra scene - yay!

Oh, thank you for the soundtrack! I love the music on the show, and there's a little insert in the DVD with the soundtrack listing - I just haven't had time to look at it to decide if I'll buy it or not. So now I can check it out first, yay!

You'll need to download the first deleted scenes file as well - for some reason, the end of the behind the scenes thing is at the start of that, and it's a cute little bit with some of the football players. I suck at ripping dvds!

Thanks, will do. This show was such a wonderful discovery - great writing, wonderful cinematography, kickass sound track ...mmm sounds like another show we like ;)

And funnily enough, with both shows, I watched the pilot and didn't bother watching any more until I was talked into it - definitely not instant attraction with either.

A friend harrassed me into watching FNL - I mean I was eye-rolling "American football?" and burnt dvds for me, and then I didn't get it into the first couple of eps, but felt I had to watch a couple more and by about the fourth ep was hooked.

I eyerolled and then some! It did not appeal at all, and I'm not sure now why I gave it a second go - I guess it was trust in the people who told me I should. And now I keep trying to get other people to get past the idea of it being about American football, because that's not really the theme at all, however much a part of it it is.
