NCIS ficlet: The Psychology of Pigtail Pulling

I'd try to explain away this one, but all I can come up with when I look at it is 'huh?'

Pigtails, and pigtail-pulling, tell you a lot about a person. Abby knows. From practical experience, of course. Her pigtails are so much more than just a personal statement.
Take Gibbs, for example. He'll pull her pigtails, creep up on her from behind to do it - and he's not all that gentle either - and then he'll hand her a Caf-Pow, and honestly, she's not sure which says he loves her more.
Tim's pulled her pigtails too. In bed, sort of not exactly by accident. She thinks he wanted to, but needed to pretend he wasn't doing it intentionally. He was always such a gentleman, would apologize afterwards and look ridiculously guilty, like it was a secret kink he was terribly ashamed of. She thinks it's rather sweet. Like him.
Tony often looks as though he's considering it, but doesn't quite dare. Abby intends to keep it that way.
Now Ziva's pulling on them, and Abby's sure she's not going to be doing any apologizing. She's pulling Abby's face down between Ziva's legs, and between the pulling and the yes, Abby, like that, there and no, lower, Ziva's making it very clear what she wants. And making certain she gets it.
Abby wonders if anyone has ever made a detailed study of pigtail pullers. She should ask Ducky, she thinks - discreetly of course, no details. Though she doubts much would shock him. The thought distracts her, and she stops a moment and smiles at the idea of Ducky studying the psychology of pigtail pulling for his exams.
There's another sharp tug on her pigtails, Ziva's way of saying pay attention. "Why are you smiling?" Ziva asks.
"Just thinking about Ducky," Abby answers, and Ziva looks down at her, aghast.
"Now?" she asks. "You're thinking of Ducky right now? Ducky?" Her accent always thickens when she's shocked.
"Oh my God, Ziva. No," Abby says, shaking her head reassuringly. "Not like that." Later, maybe, she'll explain, but for now she has much better uses for her tongue. She wants to find out if Tony's tale-telling is true or not.
A few minutes later, she has her answer. A pigtail puller and a screamer. Figures.
