Ages ago, when the meme was going around to pick your five favourite stories, flipmontigirl tagged me to list mine. And I tried, I really did. But I couldn't do it, not pick just five. I had never considered the pairing until I read a Sam/Ellen story - it's amazing the power of fan-fiction!

Hell that's how I became a Smallville fan. I couldn't get past the first 3 episodes until I read some later season stuff last summer, same thing for all of Supernatural, I wouldn't watch it if fanfiction hadn't made Dean and Sam seem so watchable.

I'm sorry that this is completely random, but I think that you recommended a movie (I don't know how long ago) about two men in the UK that were friends when they were young but lost touch later on. One of the men becomes a women and meets up with the man later in life and they end up starting a romantic relationship. I can not for the life of me remember the name.

Again, if this doesn't ring a bell at all, I'm sorry.

I joined wip_it_good and picked this as my main story to finish.

Somehow, I missed that! I loved the bits you'd already posted as a WiP. I'll have to check out the finished story once I'm back from my trip. =D

I actually rewrote a lot of what I'd already posted, as well as concluding it, and adding a prologue and epilogue. But somehow, I don't know, it never really seemed to work to me. I think the idea had potential, but the execution and way I developed the idea didn't live up to it. I'm still fond of bits of it though.
