I haven't had time to properly process the episode yet, but first impressions were surprisingly favourable. Over the last few episodes I've gradually been losing interest, and Vessel really needed to do something good to grab my attention again. And it actually did. It got me caring again. (Mind you, it didn't hurt that it wasn't up against Supernatural).
Even if I hadn't been interested in the storyline (which I was), I would have been happy just for the image of Zod!Lex, in a leather trenchcoat, on top of the LexCorp building, silhouetted against a burning Metropolis. Loved, loved that image, the power, the resolution on his face, everything about it! Lex should wear that trenchcoat all the time (except when he's wearing desert whites, or nothing, which are both also high on my list of very good things).
And this was surely the sign of a team who aren't at all afraid of cancellation - I gather the show's not been officially renewed, but it doesn't look as though there's any chance that it'll be dropped, so we get multiple cliffhangers!

Martha can deny it all she wants, but there's so much UST in this scene!
This is up there with the picture of Lex sleeping in Bound as one of my all time favourite shots of him
