I really liked this. It's beautifully written and the bittersweet quality to their memories really articulates what makes the Narnia stories both beautiful and sad for me.

This is lovely and wistful and captures each of them really well, I think.

Thanks! They're really quite fascinating characters to explore, so I'm glad you think I've captured them.

I'm glad it was a pleasant surprise. That's the nice thing about the NYR fics - little Christmas gifts all through the year!

I haven't read nearly enough Narnia fanfic. This is perfect. As a reader, I'm craving more knowledge of them after their return - obviously they've been changed immensely, yet put back in a situation that hasn't changed at all. You've done a terrific job with the characters. Hell, this could easily be a novel with all of the territory to cover!

But it's nice as it is, as well.

There are so many areas to explore - that's one of the beauties of the books, from a fanfiction point of view. All the years in between (we only get details of a tiny fraction of the Pevensies' first visit to Narnia), the years to come in the New Narnia - so much to play with!

Thanks for the lovely feedback!
