Okay, so I gave into some serious nagging and watched Supernatural today. And while I admit that all you Supernatural fans have done a good job of promoting the joy of the Wincest, why hasn't anyone drummed it into my head as to just how pretty it is?! And I don't just mean the two fine leads - the combination of lowered saturation, splashes of colour and the depth of contrast makes it really something special to look at.
I loved the way the only real colour in this scene is in the balloons
I'm guessing that everyone has already squeed over this scene (and the towel turban - could they get any gayer?)
More red, white and blue, but in muted and moody shades
I've no idea whether this sort of colour scheme is a regular occurrence, or if there's some significance behind it, but it makes it a real visual delight to watch.

I made a request on
svtimeline a couple of days ago, but haven't had any takers yet. It's a nice easy little job that would really help us in compiling the Smallville Timeline website (which we should be opening soon) - making a note each week of any new characters who appear. I'd do it myself, but as I'm generally capping with one hand, drinking coffee with another and making notes for fiction with a third, you'll see that I don't really have a spare hand available. So, anyone up for it? All it needs to be is a simple list like this: Episode title: John Smith, Joe Bloggs. And for doing that, you'll get official credit on the website! It's a bargain offer!
