Stargate Atlantis 2.08 screencaps and icons
I was worried that John's bite was going to be completely forgotten by this episode. I'm so pleased that I was wrong. And I'm particularly pleased that we are shown that Carson has guts when it comes down to it, when a patient's life is at stake. We often see him looking nervous or trying to talk his way out of flying a puddlejumper or going off-world, but this is a guy who chose to travel to another galaxy, so he's no coward.
Ronon is settling in to the show and the team extremely well. And I was interested to see that he obeyed Lorne as unhesitatingly as he obeys Sheppard (most of the time). So, so much more I could talk about - the way the team sit around sleepless when their leader is dying, the way Ronon didn't like being bested in the run by Sheppard, ah, so much goodness!
I'm definitely seeing the show in a whole new light now I have my fannish goggles on!
