I haven't just read a really fun little Hugh Laurie/Stephen Fry ficlet. Absolutely not. Though there does seem to be one
here, should anyone else want to read such a thing. And I have to say, very few people other than Stephen Fry could get away with calling someone 'a little lovemuffin', but he could most certainly do so with panache.

A little reminder to everyone who's signed up for the
Writer's Workout Challenge: all stories are to be posted on the 29th (pick a time zone, any time zone, from Anadyr to Alaska), but not before then. And it's not too late to sign up for it - it's all good exercise!

The one-line meme
I'm in need of a writing kick start, yet again, so I'm going to join the masses and give the one-line meme thing a go, at least for a couple of hours or until I fall asleep from excess cake consumption. Is there's anyone around willing to play? *peers around* If so, give me a character or a pairing, and a one word prompt (that I may or may not use) and I'll try and write you a sentence (or two).
So, fandoms: Smallville, Veronica Mars, Harry Potter, Good Omens, Sports Night, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Young Americans, the West Wing, Firefly, Stargate Atlantis, Due South, Stargate SG-1, Alias, Northern Exposure, Bible, Shakespeare plays, the O.C., Lost, Battlestar Galactica, My So-Called Life. The ones in italics I've never written in, but heh, one sentence, I can try, right?
ETA: Apparently, by a sentence or two, I mean a paragraph or four. It's just so hard to stop at one sentence!
ETA 2: That's all, folks - thanks for the prompts, but no more! I've a couple left to do, which I shall write tomorrow, but for now sleep shall claim me.
