The Frames ~ Finally. From the 'Burn the Maps' album. I particularly like the vocals on this - they remind me of someone, but I can't think who.
Kasabian ~ Processed Beats. It's all about the beat.
Le Tigre ~ On The Verge. Sexy, angry girl!
Puccini ~ La Boheme, Quando Men Vo (sung by Anna Netrebko). Not my favourite Puccini aria, but I do love to wallow in La Boheme.
The Magnetic Fields ~ Take Ecstacy With Me. This band always make me laugh. It's from their 69 Love Songs album, and they're the most inventive set of love songs ever.

ETA 2: I haven't had a chance to read the rest of the stories on Katkim's birthday site, but I was lucky enough to read The Russet Taint (SV) by littledrop a few days ago, and I was blown away by it. It's hot and dirty and painful and just amazingly visual.
