Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You, Jesus?
Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence
Or to my knees, will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine!
Quite the famous song, but I've never really listened to it a lot. I really like the lyrics and the singer has a country-feel to his voice, which is cool.
This week really has passed by quickly. I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow. I love these weeks, when on Thursday morning, I think it's Tuesday, but then WOW! It's Thursday and the week is almost over! And then I also really love when I forget that the OC is on Thursdays. I was reminded in the gym today.
Yes, Hei-Yue went to the gym today. My BU alumnus mother signed up as a member of the fitness & recreation center (or if you want to be cool, "FitRec," which isn't even easy to say, and I think it's stupid. haha) and I am a dependent and get to go, too. I am not trying to be a BU student, so I don't care if I don't look like one. haha -- yeah I bumped into Dinah on the train, and she was going to the fitness center too, and when we went in, we had to swipe our cards and I hadn't done it before, so naturally, I swiped it the wrong way, and Dinah was like, "Yeah, you're definitely not a BU student," to which I replied, "I know I'm not. I'm not trying to be." So there you go.
The Save Darfur assembly is this Monday, and Rev. Dr. Gloria White-Hammond, the national chair of the Million Voices for Darfur campaign and an African Methodist-Episcopalian (I think I got that right...) minister is coming to show a movie and speak. Hopefully it will be a success. We've put a lot of effort into this. And we're so organized! It's great.
The past few weeks, I have kept looking at my assignment notebook and turned to all the already-filled-out pages. It's so interesting to see what I have done this year. Then I turn to the front and see how many pages I have left in the year, and I measure about the same pages towards the back, and I see what I was doing that amount of time ago, and see if it feels like a long time ago or if it doesn't. I have 8 more pages left in my assignment notebook. 8 pages ago, I was taking midyears. That wasn't too long ago, sorta! Can't wait till end of May.
Buuuuuuuuut until then...
