What High School Does
I'm about to go into my sophmore year of high school. Freshman year wasn't all that bad. But what does happen is you realize who your true friends are. Your true friends are the ones that stick by you no matter what. So many of my friends last year, are now on my block list for AIM, and I give them fake numbers for when they ask. So many people go different ways, and people lable people. I don't like labels. "Goth, prep, punk, jock" sure I've used them all, but you shouldn't judge people based on their looks. Last year, at Stevenson, I hung out with everybody, this year, I limited myself. So far all you coming into 9th grade at Glenn, here's some advice. Don't give in to the pressures, they exist. Don't do drugs or drink just to gain acceptance because that shows they're not your true friends anyway. Get involved in sports, or whatever floats your boat! lolz. Ok that's my wise words for the day....and also....find a bestfriend you can trust with anything and is there for you no matter what....(thank you Sarah Love you!).
