Wearing a thick, waterproofed coat and surrounded by her three Pokémon, she can be seen wading into the water and battling any whild Pokémon she encounters. Which is a lot, because Magikarp are kind of... well, everywhere.
Incidentally, when battling, she doesn't give off quite as many commands as one would expect. Indeed, her Absol seems to know what to do on its own, and her Haunter and Noctowl need only a few orders every once in a while as she sends them out to fight simultaneously.]
