Micro rant
The school just got the teacher to call me to ask if they could put a video of G on Twitter, because I had refused to give them permission to do this in the form they sent home. The answer was still NO.
My kid isn't a promotional prop and there are too many weirdos out there. I simply said they could edit her out.
They probably think I do this 'just' to be difficult. Scary to think that an educational body has such a limited understanding of what children's safety is really about...
Also, I'm not one of those parents who feel the need to brag to others about my kid being a model to others in her school.
They probably told G about it before calling me... She's going to be unhappy about me saying no. Oh well, one day she'll understand.
