Look at me, I'm so clever: I voted this morning to elect a MP representing French people living abroad (North).
Yesterday I submitted my Xmas story to a small agency and to a publisher. The agency is small and doesn't take on many clients but they're good as I've seen many of the authors/artists they represent read on children TV, especially CBeebies. The publisher, Little Tiger Press, might be a bit ambitious for me but if I don't try I'll never know. I was a bit shocked to find out I first sent that Xmas story in June 2011. Time has flown by without me noticing and my poor Santa is still homeless...
I've got to crack on the translations so they're ready by 1 June. It should be fine, if I don't let other things take over.
I'd like to pick up my other kiddo stories, hopefully soon, but there are proofs on their way that will need proofreading and I've got a book to copyedit. I guess I'm 'allowed' another coffee, right?
