Writing diary 01/08/2011
One day, I'll have the time to read all those books about the art of writing, one day...
Needless to say, nothing much on the writing front, unless I count reading a book about the Maya Prophecy!
The proofread is nearly done so I *might* have a chance to scribble something this month, although I'm proofreading a friend's article.
I went to a book group yesterday. We don't all read the same book and discuss it. Everybody brings the books they've read, explain what it's about and what they thought of it and we swap book if anybody's interested. It was really nice. I met a couple of new people, including a singer (possibly songwriter too) who knows some big names, apparently. She was really friendly ^^ www.judydyble.com/biography
I'm the youngest at these 'gigs' but I absolutely love it. Just what I need now I'm a 'proper' grownup woman and a mum. It must seem very odd to my own mother as most of my friends have more or less the same age as her - but they're way groovier! :D
