Gosh, I love these both so much! The way you handle strong shapes and lines is just amazing. And the colors are gorgeous. Do you start with a color palette in mind, or do you pick and choose as you go along?

Thank you! I almost always do a really exhaustive set of color roughs before going into the final... I might start with a vague direction, but after goofing around/tweaking based on feedback, I rarely end up going with the first idea.

Maybe I should just post my color roughs?

maybe you don't feel like drawing fanart because you need to get into new things that you might feel inclined to fanart to? is that gramatically appropiate, "fanart to"
