New Leather working project
I decided to go simple with for this project. I looked at the link farmhouse_ghost posted in my last entry and took some of the elements from the British Library collection and incorporated them into a design of my own. Its a simple quilted look with unicorn stamps.
Next step is going to be laying out how I'll hold the kindle in place. Then I'll dye the leather, I'm thinking a medium brown. Then lining the whole thing with some suede, and then riveting the pieces together. Maybe I can pick up some sort of clasp or closure at Pennsic to tie it all together.
